COMPUTER-AIDED DESIGN

AAS Technical Degree

Computer technology has revolutionized the processes used in drafting and design. Processes that were formerly performed by hand can now be done using computers and is referred to as CAD (computer-aided design).

CAD Class“The technology of computer-aided design is used in a wide range of fields, so employment opportunities are very broad. CAD technicians work closely with engineers, architects and others who need technical drawings, and our program prepares them for this challenge. Our students work on up-to-date computer stations equipped with the software used in the field, including SolidWorks and AutoDesk Inventor.  We’re always updating, to stay current with the demands of the industry.”
